TRADER OFSTORIES
Below are my original soundtracks for the free adventure game series Trader of Stories. The music I have made for these games can be categorized as World music.
Trader of Stories - Chapter 3
(feat. Sergiu Muresan)
While I was working on the German translation of Chapter 3, the chapter's main theme had gotten stuck in my head and, just for fun, I played the theme on my Cello and sent the game's designer Marek a recording — and he promptly asked me if I were interested in expanding that chapter's soundtrack with a few of my own compositions. I gladly made a few additional tracks... and ended up making most of the music in that particular chapter. Among various instruments I also recorded a box of sea shells from my childhood as experimental percussion. Creating this score turned out to be a surprizingly personal experience.
Trader of Stories - Bell's Heart
I also began to work on the soundtrack for Bell's Heart in parallel with my work on Chapter 3. When Marek decided to remaster his older game Bell's Heart, the music from the original version could no longer be used due to licensing issues. Marek considered just re-using tracks which series composer Sergiu had already made for chapters 1 to 3, but the more sober mood of those tracks would have changed the game's atmosphere too drastically, so I offered to create a new OST inspired by the game's original music. And yet, creating this soundtrack was a refreshingly personal experience, as it really reflects my own style.

SIMULACRUM
Here is the soundtrack for the free horror game Simulacrum - Chapter One, which I have created together with Andrew Carr. Some of the tracks in this soundtrack were entirely made by him, a few more were entirely made by me, but most of them were the result of cooperative feedback between the two of us. It can be categorized as Industrial Horror Ambience.
Here are two hours of Industrial Horror Ambience which I have composed as background-music for my own Silent Hill 2 theory video. It may seem a bit like overkill to compose two hours of music just for a theory video, but it was important to me to illustrate the points I was making as fittingly as I could, and sometimes the music even helps conveying the arguments. Additionally, it was an interesting and very personal experience for me to take old church songs (Dies Irae, Agni Parthene, Christ ist erstanden, Kyrie Eleison) and respectfully cover them in a style more befitting a modern horror-game.
1 HOUR OFHORRORAMBIENCE
This full hour of Industrial Horror Ambience which I have composed around 2013 was meant to be background-music for Silent Hill inspired fan-project. I worked on it with Andrew Carr and Olivia Steele, and we canceled the project in 2013, BUT it laid the foundation for our later project Simulacrum, for which all three of us reunited and I also re-used some assets and audio that I had originally created for this older project. If it weren't for the project for which I made this full hour of music, Simulacrum never would have existed in its current form.
